My story

I built my own way forward.

I’m Amber Farooqui. I started my first business at 17, became a bestselling author at 20, and founded what became the #1 women’s conference in Illinois at 23.

Today, I own multiple businesses and I’m building the life I always dreamed of. Now, I help others do the same by turning their stories, expertise, and ideas into powerful brands and businesses that support the lives they want to live. Here’s how I got here.

Where it started

Sharing my life became my first business.

My story starts in high school, when I was being homeschooled in a foreign country where I knew nobody and didn’t speak the language. During that time, I fell in love with fitness and started documenting my journey on social media. It was a passion, something I loved, and I never intended for it to become a business.

But sharing what I loved created opportunities I hadn’t planned for. Through the power of my personal brand and how I used social media, that passion became my first business at 17. I began coaching fitness clients all over the world. By 18, it had grown into a six-figure business, before I’d even started college.

At 20, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, and my entire life changed. What was supposed to be a two-hour surgery turned into more than seven hours.

During recovery, I finally had the time to write my book. Finding Your Fit: A Guide to Living Your Best Life brought together my personal perspectives and practical approaches to wellness beyond the physical. It became a bestseller in less than 24 hours.

Along the way, I became just as passionate about the business side. I invested a lot of time, energy, and money into coaches, mentors, courses, and events to really educate myself. I studied systems, personal branding, marketing, and sales, then put what I learned to work in my own business. I was committed to mastering that world.

I also learned the power of the right connections. Getting into rooms where I could learn from others and build real relationships became part of my growth. As my knowledge and experience grew, my work evolved into business coaching and consulting, helping others apply those same lessons to their own businesses.

The turning point

Yes, I got fired.

I tried the traditional path, too. While building my business, I studied at DePaul University, earned my degree in Honors Marketing and Sales Leadership, and landed a job at a Fortune 100 company.

It wasn’t the role for me. Let’s just say my goal became getting fired. And when I have a goal, I make it happen. Less than 90 days in, I got fired, and it pushed me to go full-on CEO mode.

I leaned into what I’d already been building: my personal brand, my business, and the connections I’d made by showing up. I put my communication skills, sales strategies, and marketing techniques to work, using everything I’d learned to create my own path.

That experience is part of what I bring to my clients today. I’ve built through content, sold my own offers, and changed direction as my business evolved. Those are the same decisions I help you work through.

“Be it until you become it.”
